Meet our Management
Tom Kolb, President
Mr. Kolb’s IT career started with designing networks in the 80s, developing financial and organizational workflows and supporting software in the 90s, then working with hosted applications and wireless networking in the early 2000s. He has since taken that passion and experience to build a premier-class Data Center offering colocation, virtualization, and other managed services. That vision has also expanded into providing geographically diverse Disaster Recovery and Data Center solutions for companies throughout the US. Along with the day-to-day tasks of running a company, Mr. Kolb remains hands-on by leading Sitco’s technical growth plans and interacting with clients on a daily basis.
Bill Butterfield, Executive Vice President
Mr. Butterfield’s accomplishments have earned him respect within the business community in Indiana and beyond. While owning many successful businesses throughout his career, Mr. Butterfield has also volunteered his time by either serving as President or Chairman of the Board for over 10 charitable organizations, including the United Way of SW Indiana. After serving as Chairman of the Student Council for his High School for two years, Mr. Butterfield became the President of his Senior Class at Purdue University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree, and later became a member of the Century Club at the Harvard School of Business, where he received his MBA. His competitive spirit in basketball was shown as a Purdue University Basketball Letterman and then by playing on a professional basketball team that defeated the Harlem Globe Trotters. Mr. Butterfield’s tenured business experience helps to drive Sitco’s overall growth and financial planning strategy.
Dan Kolb, Chief Technology Officer
Dan has been passionate about technology since his early teens. After building computers and learning various facets of IT as a young man, Dan went on to work for a local IT company as a Network Engineer and Microsoft Certified Trainer after college. His next opportunity was to work at a nearby Water Utility where he revamped their IT to include an Enterprise Asset Management solution and a GIS Program. Since 2008 Dan has worked as Chief Technology Officer at Sitco managing various aspects of a high availability solutions such as Server and Desktop virtualization, consulting and systems design, and Disaster Recovery. He realizes the importance of customer service and cost effective proven solutions for Sitco’s clients. Dan obtained both his bachelor’s degree and Masters of Information Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
